Visual Arts: The PALETTE Program
The original PALETTE Program partners student and senior adult volunteers as Partners in Arts Learning (PALs) to participate in visual art classes and cultural outings.
Visual art classes may include:
- Portrait painting
- Printmaking
- Pastel drawing
- Wheel-throwing
Cultural outings may include:
- Guided museum visit to the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts (VMFA)
- Artists’ workshops at the Visual Arts Center of Richmond
The PALETTE Program concludes each semester with an exhibit of artwork created by PALs throughout the program!
