Visual Arts: The PALETTE Program

The original PALETTE Program partners student and senior adult volunteers as Partners in Arts Learning (PALs) to participate in visual art classes and cultural outings.

  • Portrait painting
  • Printmaking
  • Pastel drawing
  • Wheel-throwing

Cultural outings may include:

  • Guided museum visit to the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts (VMFA)
  • Artists’ workshops at the Visual Arts Center of Richmond

The PALETTE Program concludes each semester with an exhibit of artwork created by PALs  throughout the program!
