Movement Arts: PALETTE in Motion

PALETTE in Motion partners student and senior adult volunteers as Partners in Arts Learning (PALs) to participate in movement art classes and cultural outings.PiM2015

Movement art classes may include:

  • Mirrored movements
  • Sculptures in motion
  • Introduction to choreography
  • Moving through negative space

Cultural outings may include:

  • Local professional dance performance
  • VCU Senior Dance Project

PALETTE in Motion concludes each semester with a Showcase Event of movements developed by PALs  throughout the program!
